Description

Spread across a series of patios and modules, Vista al Cielo is a celebration of outdoor living. Three open volumes — the entrance garden, the central patio that separates kitchen and living room, and the garden with a pool that connects the terrace and the master bedroom — create a constant dialogue between interior and exterior. Soft curves, grey cement walls with varied finishes, regional stone and sky-blue window grilles give the house its texture, while strategic openings in walls and ceilings frame constant views of the sky. A rescued house in Mérida's historic center, reborn in a contemporary language. Award-winning architecture, published on Architizer.
